The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has endorsed YOUCAT for Children, a resource for engaging children in the Catholic faith. The publication has a preface by Pope Francis where he urges parents not to tire of asking questions and telling children about their faith.
YOUCAT for Kids is an introduction to the Catholic faith for children aged 8 to 12. The post is filled with vivid colors and designs, and easy-to-understand answers to difficult questions, such as, “Why do I exist?” And “Why do some people not believe in God?” The YOUCAT for Kids authors tested the answers with groups of children to make sure they understood what was being explained.

It is appropriate for children and parents to spend time together in order to discover more and more the love of God.
