Apopka is blessed with an abundance of church options.
There is a range of congregations, large and small, long established and nascent, affiliated and independent denominational, contemporary and traditional.
Since we all look for different things when it comes to a church family, such variety means there’s a good chance there is a congregation in the area that meets your needs. unique. The challenge is to find it.
If you haven’t yet found a spiritual home that’s right for you, we invite you to find someone new to the Apopka community. It’s called Graceworx. And he meets for study at 10 a.m. and worship at 11:30 a.m. every Saturday morning at Compass Community Church, 9635 Bear Lake Road, Apopka, FL 32703 (roughly halfway between SR 414 and Bunnell Road).
Graceworx was founded by a group of people who believe that a congregation should refresh the spirit, stimulate the spirit, provide strong internal fellowship, and work tirelessly with other congregations and civic organizations for the betterment of our community. local.
Jesus said he came that humans âmay have life and have it more abundantlyâ (John 10:10). That’s what Graceworx is. We want everyone to know the Creator and Redeemer God of the Bible, loving, caring, forgiving, and gracious. And we seek to be a zone of discovery and a center of support for those seeking a more meaningful, balanced and fulfilling life.
The living Bible paraphrase of Romans 5: 1, 2 aptly sums up both the “grace” and the “worx” from which we derive our name: “So now, since we have been established before God by faith in His promises , we can have true peace with him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. For because of our faith he has brought us to this place of the highest privilege that we are in now, and we look forward with confidence and joy to truly becoming all that God intended for us to be.
Graceworx is not a club for the saints. It is a fellowship for those who understand their own breaking up and recognize their own ongoing struggles, but who desire to fully experience what God wants for the human family.
Pastor Jim Coffin, who has served as youth pastor, senior pastor, editor of religious magazines, church consultant, or (currently) executive director of the Central Florida Interfaith Council, presents the sermon almost weekly.
We invite those looking for a church family – or those who simply wish to get to know another congregation in the Apopka community – to stop by for a visit at any time. Be blessed with fellowship, music, scripture readings, prayers, and Bible study. See how the principles of ancient revelation speak powerfully and appropriately to life today.
Again, the services are every Saturday morning. We hope to see you soon.
