Father Christian Flagstadt is one of two new priests in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Marquette. He is shown being ordained a priest by Bishop John Doerfler on June 3 at St. Pierre de Marquette Cathedral. Father Flagstadt was appointed associate pastor of St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph, Ishpeming, and sacramental minister of St. Augustine, Republic, and Sacred Heart, Champion. He studied at Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit. Father Flagstadt’s home parish is Holy Family, Flat Rock in Gladstone. Brandon Yanni is the second of two new priests in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Marquette. Yanni is shown ordained to the priesthood by Bishop John Doerfler. Father Yanni was appointed Associate Pastor of All Saints, Gladstone after studying at Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit. His home parish is Holy Name of Mary, Sault Ste. Married.
