Pax Christi’s Women with Spirit Bible Study has announced its 11th program for the 2017-2018 season. The group will study “Alpha and Omega” – the Gospel of Mark, followed by Daniel, Ezekiel, and concluding with Revelation – a source of hope and promise.

The group will meet Tuesday mornings at the Pax Christi Catholic Community from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., September 26 to April 10. be followed by small group discussions. The series will also feature three mornings of reflection.

Professors this year include Susan Myers, associate professor of theology at the University of St. Thomas; David Fredrickson, professor of the New Testament and ordained (ELCA), Luther Seminary; Kelly Wilson, assistant professor of theology, University of St. Thomas; and Catherine Cory, chair of the history department and associate professor of theology, University of St. Thomas.

One morning of reflection will include a presentation by Bill Murtaugh, pastor of Pax Christi on Thomas Merton, another will use “Visio Divina”, to reflect on images from the St. John’s Bible.

The $ 100 tuition fee covers lectures, retreats, books, and babysitting. Scholarships are available on request.
