Patti Hannon returns to the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts where she performs in a series of “catechism” classes. The record-breaking “Late Night Catechism” has aired every season since 2000. This year, it airs most Fridays at 8 p.m. until March 27.

The sequel, “Late Nite Catechism III: ‘Til Death Do Us Part,” runs most Saturdays at 8 p.m. until March 28. also returns for a limited engagement from March 31 through April 5.

Each production is spontaneous, clever and outrageously fun, according to the press. Leading her class with a sharp wit, Sister teaches her students – who happen to be the audience – all she knows about Sins and Saints while dishing out rewards and reprimands with lightning speed.

In “Late Nite Catechism III: ‘Til Death Do Us Part,” Sister delivers the latest dogma fresh from the World Wide Web, some hilarious lessons on love and marriage, and her own outrageous take on The Newlywed Game.

Pageant Party and Hysterical “Saint” “Sister’s Easter Catechism: Will My Bunny Go to Heaven?” unearths the origins of Easter bunnies, eggs, hats, baskets and, of course, those delicious Marshmallow Peeps. Sister answers eternally perplexing questions about pet heaven and the importance of these adorable chicks. Students are also encouraged to wear their best Easter bonnets.

Tickets for all classes are $39 or by phone at (480) 499-TKTS (8587). Students of all ages and faiths are welcome and class participation is encouraged.
