A church in China’s eastern coastal province of Jiangsu held the opening ceremony for Bible study classes, as well as a sharing meeting for the security group and the receptionist group.
A Bible study class with the theme “The People of Promise – The Division of the Kingdom” was launched at Gongxiang Church in Suzhou on September 19, the Suzhou CC&TSPM reported.
Leading the opening ceremony, Senior Pastor Yu Huawei gave a brief description of this Bible study course with suggestions on studying the Old Testament. It has been recommended that learners know how to “put themselves in the shoes of others” and learn to “think in a different position” in order to gain spiritual growth.
After the ceremony, the lead teacher and leader of the Bible Study Fellowship discussed how to conduct this training well, with strategies offered in response to issues from the previous training.
The following day, the church held a sharing meeting for the security group and receptionist group who had worked to ensure business development during COVID-19, summarizing the experience for future work.
Reverend Yu Huawei shared a sermon titled “Service Accepted by God”, encouraging attendees to cooperate with each other to serve with the heart of Jesus Christ.
During the sharing session, they shared their service experience with praises to God.
