St. Stephen’s Anglican Church

The Lenten Dinner and Lecture Series begins March 9. The theme of the evening will be based on excerpts from “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortlund. Parish of the Divine Redeemer

Eucharistic Adoration at St. Mary’s, 444 Glenfield Road, is Wednesdays from 8-9 p.m. At St. James, 200 Walnut St., it is held 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, noon to 4 p.m. Friday, and Saturday after 9 a.m. Mass. Welcome.

Parishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, including Divine Redeemer Parish, hold synodal sessions. They constitute the first part of a consultation called synod, which means walking together. The second parish synod will be held March 14 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at St. James Gathering Place.

Sewickley Presbyterian Church

Sewickley Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Lenten Soup Supper and Study every Wednesday until April 6 at 6 p.m. in the Church Dining Hall. You are asked to register for the event. Registration can be found online at sewickleypresby.org. The studies will also be streamed live online. This year’s study will be led by Mike Creamer and is titled “Finding Faith in Fairytales”, based on the series “Chronicles of Narnia” by CS Lewis.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

Six-Week Wednesday Evening Bible Study: We will be hosting a special midweek series at 7 p.m. until Lent.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sewickley United Methodist Church and St. Matthews AME Church will meet for Sunday evening ecumenical worship during Lent.

The services will follow the Seven Words of the Cross. They will take place at 6 p.m. as follows:

• March 20 and April 10 in St. Matthews

• March 27 in Saint-Paul

• March 13, April 3 at SUMC
