A Jacksonville group that since the mid-1970s has been bringing people together for non-denominational Bible study will begin a new season in September.
Explorer’s Bible Study will meet at 9:15 a.m. on September 6 at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, 951 Lincoln Ave.
After an introductory time, the discussion will begin at 9:30 am. Participants will return to the church sanctuary at 10:10 a.m. for a lecture on the week’s lesson.
The 15 week study will involve 1-2 Timothy and Titus. The books of the New Testament are often called the Pastoral Epistles, in which the apostle Paul advises his young companions to administer the gospel.
