A couple leading a teen Bible study at their Albertville home before school day will speak at the Unity Foundation’s Faith @ Work Luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 15, at the Ballroom Broadway in Alexandria.

Jake and Christy Vanada were scheduled to speak in Alexandria last fall, but the COVID pandemic has forced them to postpone.

They started the study for high school students eight years ago and it attracts hundreds of students for a hearty breakfast and a Bible lesson. Called STMA Breakfast Club, it was featured on KARE11 in the Twin Cities.

Graduated from Northwestern University in 1996 with a degree in Bible and Youth Ministry, Jake has worked as a youth pastor in several churches. He was a staff member of FCA for over nine years. Jake’s current role is that of WADA’s National Chaplain for Supercross and Motocross. Jake and Christy serve side by side in ministry to professional motocross athletes, their wives and families, and the industry. The Breakfast Club continues to be a great passion for them as they serve and love the teens of St. Michael / Albertville.

Tickets cost $ 10 per person and can be purchased online or at the door.

To reserve a spot, register in advance either on oct21fw.eventbrite.com or by email, [email protected].
