Eucharistic Adoration at St. Mary’s, 444 Glenfield Road, is Wednesdays from 8-9 p.m. At St. James, 200 Walnut St., it is held 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, noon to 4 p.m. Friday, and Saturday after 9 a.m. Mass. Welcome.
Parishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, including Divine Redeemer Parish, hold synodal sessions. They constitute the first part of a consultation called synod, which means walking together. Parish Synods will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 9 at the St. Mary Meenan Center and from 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 14 at St. James Gathering Place.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
Wednesday soup to go: We will be offering take-out soups on certain Wednesdays during Lent. The first is soup and halushki on March 9, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The cost is $6.
Six-Week Wednesday Evening Bible Study: We will be hosting a special midweek series at 7 p.m., beginning March 9 and continuing through Lent.
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sewickley United Methodist Church and St. Matthews AME Church will meet for Sunday evening ecumenical worship during Lent.
The services will follow the Seven Words of the Cross. They will take place at 6 p.m. as follows:
• March 20 and April 10 in St. Matthews
• 6, 27 March in Saint-Paul
• March 13, April 3 at SUMC

St. Stephen’s Anglican Church
The Lenten Dinner and Lecture Series begins March 9. The theme of the evening will be based on excerpts from “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortlund.
